Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and The Oddball Ark when you create an account, purchase a plan, or use the service.
Using The Oddball Ark
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login secure, and be legally able to agree to these terms. The service provides animal-record tools, educational material, and a breeder directory. It does not provide veterinary, legal, or regulatory advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian and your state wildlife agency.
Subscriptions and billing
Basic is free. Keeper and Breeder are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or yearly at the price shown before checkout. Taxes may be added where required. By subscribing, you authorize our payment processor to charge the selected price at each renewal until cancellation. Price changes will be communicated before they affect a renewal.
Cancellation and plan changes
You may cancel from Billing at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access continues until that date. Upgrades and downgrades are managed through the billing portal and take effect as described there. Removing the app or not using it does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where law requires otherwise. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact hello@oddballark.com promptly. We review requests individually and do not promise automatic refunds.
Your content
You retain ownership of animal records, photos, reviews, breeder profiles, and other content you submit. You grant The Oddball Ark a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and reproduce that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. Public breeder listings, reviews, and enabled share links can be viewed by others. You are responsible for having permission to submit your content.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break laws, facilitate animal cruelty or prohibited animal sales, misrepresent breeding practices, harass others, upload malware, scrape or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or infringe another person’s rights. Directory approval or a Verified Breeder badge is not a guarantee, endorsement, or substitute for your own research.
Account suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten animals or people, create security risk, or expose us or others to legal liability. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Paid access already earned may be removed for serious misuse where permitted by law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep The Oddball Ark reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or changed. We may add, remove, or revise features and will provide reasonable notice when a material change affects paid service.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Oddball Ark is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or breeder quality. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, animal injury or loss, or transactions between users. Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim.
